Lipstick welcomes Louise Boughton, Experienced Live Event Artist

Louise is a live event artist and educator based in Dublin, Ireland, where she blends a love of drawing with a passion for storytelling through fashion. After graduating from the National College of Art and Design, she began my creative journey in the fashion industry, developing fabrics and embellishments for designer collections, and crafting her own line of accessories for retail.

Illustration has always been at the heart of Louise’s practice and is how she explores ideas, expresses movement, and captures the way clothing comes to life on the body. especially loving the energy of live drawing, those spontaneous moments where she gets to distil the essence, character, and narrative of a look right as it unfolds. This has included sketching backstage or front row, particularly at London Fashion Week, where I illustrate each season.
